During the Week of Monday, April 13th - Friday, April 17th, we will be celebrating the Week of the Young Child. The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, NAEYC. It's purpose is to focus public attention on the needs of the children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. The children have worked very hard on making artwork that will be displayed at certain locations through Friday, April 24th. Below is a list of the sites where their artwork will be displayed. Donald St.- Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School Age children's artwork will be displayed at: McDonald's on Dartmouth St. New Bedford Public Library on Pleasant St. 321 Rockdale Ave. - Preschoolers and School Age children's artwork will be displayed at: Sunrise Bakery on Dartmouth St. Pediatric Associates of New Bedford on Grape St. Sassaquin - Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School Age children's artwork will be displayed at: Kool Smiles on Hathaway Rd. The Oaks at 4245 Acushnet Ave. Church St. - Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers children's artwork will be displayed at: Dental Dreams on Kings Highway Dance Xtreme on Church St. Church St. School Age - children's artwork will be displayed at: Papa Gino's on King's Highway Dartmouth St. - School Age children's artwork will be displayed at: Papa Gino's on Dartmouth St. Burger King on Cove Rd. 374 Rockdale Ave. - Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School Age children's artwork will be displayed at: Tropical Smoothie Café on Faunce Corner Rd.
