Good Afternoon from LPC :) *REMINDER* Tomorrow, October 30th, the children at Donald St. and Church St. will be going "batty" at our annual Halloween Party! Children will enjoy a day of ghoulish games, ghostly songs, and a special Halloween snack! Children may come dressed in costumes (nothing scary), and any donated goodies must be pre-packaged (no candy). Have a wonderful evening.

Good Morning from LPC! Today, the preschoolers at 374 Rockdale Ave. will enjoy "Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater Day." Each class will explore the insides of a pumpkin, then enjoy some pumpkin pie. The children will also decorate their pumpkin and display it at our Halloween Party! Have a wonderful day :)

Good Morning from LPC! Today, the children at 374 Rockdale Ave. will enjoy "Pat-a-Cake Day!" The children will make baker's hats and each class will bake and decorate a cake. The children will enjoy their treat while listening to some nursery rhymes. Also, we look forward to seeing families whose children attend the Sassaquin site for "Open House" tonight from 6:00-7:30. Today, the preschool children at the sites in New Bedford & Dartmouth will join countless children and adults across the country in reading "Bunny Cakes" by Rosemary Wells to help celebrate literacy and break a world record! Jumpstart's "Read for the Record" in partnership with the Pearson Foundation brings together millions to celebrate literacy and support the effort to promote early childhood education. Jumpstart's mission is to work towards the day that every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. Together we can help close the kindergarten readiness gap!
