Reminder: Pre-kindergarten children from the Dartmouth and New Bedford locations of LPC will join together for a "Transition to Kindergarten Day" at 52 Donald St. South Dartmouth, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This outdoor event will help ease the children into the new year by allowing them to meet children from other LPC locations who may be with them at public school. They will be grouped by their prospective public schools, and enjoy events such as an "all about kindergarten" circle time, making friendship bracelets, as well as having some free time to get to know each other. They will be ending their celebration with an icy treat and a science show by Mad Science!
Each child will also receive a backpack filled with back to school supplies and a folder complete with a certificate, transition information for parents, and a children's book. It is sure to be a fun morning for all!
